Integrating Mobile Banking Technology
I think by now, we all understand that mobile banking is huge for the millennial generation. And most banks and credit unions have integrated mobile banking technology (If they haven’t they are working on it). For many banks, this has been a huge project that has tied up many resources. With such a hyperfocus on the 70% of Millennials who want their financial institutions to offer online banking, are we forgetting about attracting this segment through the branches?
Take one of your neighborhood branches for example. How often do you think millennials drive by the branch each month? Do branches deliver the same message as your digital banking tools? I spoke with a bank president recently, and he stressed the importance that all marketing channels must be consistent.
